Sossusvlei: truly a place of wonder. Whichever way you approach it, this is some of the most spectacular mind-blowing scenery that one can imagine: towering red sand dunes framed by deep blue skies, with a scattering of gnarly old trees and the odd gemsbok that silently appear. This phenomen, created by the migrating sands from the Orange River in the south, is a must for any traveler to Namibia.

I will never forget it: sitting in the fine red sand and letting it drift through my fingers…I can’t wait to go back.
