Are you looking for something new to do? This fab new concept in niche tourism is set to take off in South Africa: Culinary Tours. And this particular one is tucked away in the most scenic holiday destination in the Little Karoo: Prince Albert. You will be accommodated in well-appointed cottages in the village, and cook together with the chefs and teachers Reza and Vanie in the main African Relish farmhouse kitchen. You will pick local produce from the gardens, and learn how to craft it into gourmet dishes. It is hard not to fall in love with the place: set at the foot of the Swartberg Pass and the Karoo plains, and well known for its olives and figs, Prince Albert truly is a gem of a village.
